Teaser Tuesday: May 14




Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:
 

  1. Grab your current read
  2. Open to a random page
  3. Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page

Here’s my teaser!



Her family had never been religious, and she knew they were not about to start now. Still, there were moments in a life -- birth, marriage, death -- when ritual suddenly mattered; ritual was the patient, waiting vessel for all that feeling, all that love.
