Teaser Tuesday: July 2

Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:

  1. Grab your current read
  2. Open to a random page
  3. Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page

BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)

Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!

Here’s my teaser!
Fraklund cannot find a single reference to Gullberg anywhere. He's never referred to in any newspaper or trade journal, and there's not-one who can tell us who his clients were. It's as if he never actually existed in the professional world.
The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet's Nest by Stieg Larsson, page 282

  8. How are you liking this? I’m always so wary of popular books that have a lot of hype and I’ve never read it. Is it any good?

    1. I'll be doing a more complete review, but to be short, my thoughts about this book aren't much different than my thoughts about the first book in the series, The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo. (You can read my review of that one here.

"It started out very slowly, and to be honest, I almost gave up on it. Because other reviewers recommended sticking with it I did, and I learned it is worth struggling through the first 70-100 pages until the story becomes too interesting to put down!"
