My April Reading Map

This past weekend was Spring 2014 Bloggiesta. One of the things I did was work on my Reading Map for April. It is always good to take time out for a look at what I accomplished last month and ‘map out’ my plan for the new month. So...here is my April Reading Map!

First, this is what my map looked like at the beginning of March. I didn’t accomplish what I set out to do, partially because I took an impulsive trip to the beach. I got some reading done while I was there, but it wasn’t the reading I’d planned to do. And because I was at the beach instead of book club, and I’d read Orphan Train previously, I did not take time to reread it. Too many books and too little time...you know how it goes! And since some were really April reads that I’d bumped to March, I don’t feel bad about not completing my list. Reviews are linked.

Read

Did Not Read - Moved to April

Unplanned Reading
  • The Last Runaway by Tracy Chevalier (audios book from library; review to come)
  • The Weight of Blood by Laura McHugh (ARC from Bookreporter.com)
  • Mrs. Lincoln’s Rival by Jennifer Ciaverini (ARC from Bookreporter.com)

My updated map for April appears below. It includes the readings I didn’t get done from March (which were originally meant for April anyway!) I know it is a lot to read, but hopefully I can do it! And I don’t mind if I don’t get to a couple and have to bump them to next month. I would rather have a ‘next read’ in mind than have to stop to think about what to read next when I finish a book.

Do you have a ‘map’. If so, share it below in the comments. Maybe I’ll see something I want to add to my list! And if you want to see what else I accomplished during Bloggiesta, take a look at my progress post here!

  1. Looks like some good reading. The Spring Reading Thing got me to make a list like this. Mine's probably too long, too, but I'm making a stab at it.
