November Reading Map

It’s the beginning of the month and time to plan out my reading. I do this with a ‘Reading Map’. This is like a road map of my reading journey. Each month I do a ‘check-up’ to help me see what I’ve accomplished towards my reading goals and to help me see what needs to be done next.

I like to start out with a look at what I’ve done since the last map. I did get a few books read, but I am way behind on my reviewing. There are two reasons for that. October means baseball playoffs, so I watched a lot of baseball; at least for the first half of October. I really wasn’t too interested in the World Series once the Cubs were safely eliminated. October is also Family History month, and I did spend some time organizing my research. I managed one cemetery visit that I’ve been hoping to do for several years. You can read about that here if you are interested. I also got a nice report off to my aunts — something I’ve been promising to do since March! Here is what I got done, book-wise.

What I’ve read in October

What I’m currently reading.

What I chose not to read at this time.

Now it’s time to take a look at my reading map for November. I am actually working into December, because I have a lot of books I have committed to read for review in the next two months. Wiith the holidays approaching, I may not actually sit down and plan my reading at the end of this month.

November 2015 Reading Map

Do you have a ‘map’ to help guide your reading? If so, share it below in the comments. Maybe I’ll see something I want to add to my list! Happy reading!

  1. Love you reading map, every time I plan what to read it gets all messed up. Paulina Simons is one author I have never read and keep reading good things about - one of these days...

    1. Good luck with your reading plan! I don't always stick to mine, but it's nice to have a plan to jump-start me.
