It time to update my Reading Map for July This is the ‘check-up’ I do each month to help me see what I’ve accomplished towards my reading goals and to help me see what needs to be done. Here is my July Reading Map!
First, this is what my map looked like last month. I didn’t accomplish what I set out to do, partially because I knew I was setting my goals high. I didn’t really expect to finish, but I wanted to know what my plan was and what I will read next. Also, with summer in full swing, though it seems I would have MORE time to read, it doesn’t really work that way. I have a lot more driving and running to activities now….no bus service, lol!
Read
Losing Touch by Sandra Hunter(review coming soon for TLC Book Tours)
Unplanned Reading
Not Read
A Long Time Gone by Karen White (just for fun!)
I started Never Coming Back, and may return to it at some point, but it really wasn’t for me, at least not right now. I also started, but did not get very far with A Long Time Gone. It was a last minute addition that I added only because there was an author event scheduled at the library and I thought it might be nice to read the book before I went. However, it was a ‘reserve’ book and I just didn’t get time to read it.
My updated map for July appears below. I have an ambitious list this month. I’ve really over-committed and it will be a struggle to get it all read. In addition, I’ve got a busy month with the holiday and coordinating schedules. And as usual, I am adding more books than I think I can finish this month. These are not in any particular order and not all absolutely have to be finished and reviewed by the end of the month, but I am really going to have to push to get this done!
Sisterland by Curtis Sittenfeld (Goodreads First Reads win)
A Triple Knot by Emma Campion (TLC Book Tours
The Explanation For Everything by Lauren Grodstein (Library Thing Early Reviewer)
Big Little Lies by Liane Moriarty (Penguin First To Read)
This Is The Water by Yannick Murphy (TLC Book Tours)
Do you have a ‘map’. If so, share it below in the comments. Maybe I’ll see something I want to add to my list!
Nice selection for July. Curious to hear what you think of A Triple Knot, have heard both good and bad things about it..
ReplyDeleteI'll be reviewing it here on the 22nd, so check back then!
