But if we --- your mother and I --- were not Christian Scientists and your mother became sick and required hospitalization, that wouldn’t be easy for you either. Believe me. In a different way, hospitals and doctors present their own difficulties.

I usually don’t choose to read memoirs, but I have known, casually, a couple of Christian Scientists and I enjoy learning about other religions, so when I saw this, I decided to try it.
